Impeccable service, parking off site. More than adequate breakfast selection with including several different homemade cakes and bottled water, for instance.

they coped well with a booking error on their part - a cancellation which they failed to confirm with us ;we were re-booked into a close hotel ; a 1 night stay left us disappointed not have a complete booking!

The bathroom could use significant updates. There were issues with mold and peeling paint, particularly in the shower, which seemed poorly designed. The bed lacked support and was excessively soft, and a slat even fell out . No available charging plugs in the room felt outdated, especially in a tech-centric world. Noise from the street was noticeable at times due to thin windows, requiring us to keep the balcony doors closed for a restful night.

This guesthouse was extremely charming and very personal. The staff were so welcoming every morning and provided a delicious breakfast. I loved the no fuss approach and the feeling that you could come and go as you pleased. The guesthouse is so central in the town of Ortigia. Location is a big plus. Free Wi-Fi, Spacious bedrooms! Highly reccommend!
Not much to say here about the hotel itself. However some pointers - you need a car if you want to explore different beaches and the surrounding area. Parking is a 10-15min walk from the hotel - costs €1 per night.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was beautiful, location excellent, breakfast great too.
Wasn't a dislike just something to be aware of. Check - in is from 4pm onwards, we didn't realise this and waited from 3.30pm to be able to check in. This was noted on the booking however we didn't read this part! Also, be aware that parking is a 10 minute walk away, wasn't a hindrance for us and was only one Euro per night so cheap.

It was in a perfect and exceptionally nice location so close to restaurants and places of interest, the best restaurants and the ancient Greek ruins, which was on the other side of town. Comforts of very well decorated room with terrace where fabulous...

Giovanni and his staff were exceptionally helpful in providing suggestions for great local restaurants and places to visit. Their directions always got us to where we wanted to go. Their b&b is quiet and centrally located in Ortygia, so it was easy and safe to walk the wonderful streets and alleyways of the oldest part of the city. Lastly, they provided one of the best breakfasts of any b&b in which I've stayed! Thanks so much!

For a visit to Syracuse this hotel is ideally placed. Staying on Ortygia is excellent: one can view the archaeological site and museum by day and potter around the island in the evening. Location is the greatest strength. Secondly it is right to pay tribute to the extreme helpfulness of the Manager, Giovanni, who certainly went the extra mile for us and couldn't have been kinder.
We had a touring holiday, and even with a generously-offered discount this was the most expensive hotel we chose. I couldn't say it was the best, but do recognise that location costs money. It has a 'small hotel' problem: only six rooms and three occupied at the time of our meant that a very small number of staff were having to maintain the place, and once or twice little things slipped through the net. Potential customers should also be aware that parking is some way away from the hotel - this isn't a complaint, just a charactersitic of Ortygia - but the hotel provides full and accurate information about the arrangement. On balance I would say we were satisfied but not overwhelmed.

Nice rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Not really a complaint, but the reception is only open for certain hours throughout the day. Our flight was delayed, so when we arrived the hotel door was locked. The manager did respond to us ringing the bell and he cycled down to the hotel to open up.

The Beautiful Family Room was really spacious and comfy. We had a cute private terrace that was perfect for morning coffee. Clean linens and quirky decor added a nice touch. The location was great for walking around Ortigia and checking out local sites. Giovanni was super helpful. Just a little noise from the street sometimes, but nothing too bothersome.

Room was light and cool with balcony looking onto street. Bathroom was modern and well equipped. Lovely breakfast in first floor room. Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel V. welcome on arrival, providing us with a map and directions to the most popular sights. Great restaurant recommendation for local fish restaurant at the top of the island.
